We partner with multiple US and African organizations. Our partners use their resources and expertise to implement our plans and help eliminate the digital divide in Africa.

Our US partners find, donate, refurbish and ship computers from the US to Africa. Our US partners include:

  • Private citizens and corporations that donate computer equipment

  • Organizations and companies that refurbish and service donated equipment

Our African partners identify schools, prepare schools for computer labs, identify local vendors to set up and maintain computer labs, train teachers and students to use computers and monitor and evaluate the impact of computer education in African schools. Our African partners include:

  • Government agencies engaged in education and information technology (for example, Ministries of Education and technology officials)

  • Public schools and school districts, teachers, students and parents

  • Local, community-based non-profit and non-governmental organizations that manage the SBF process

  • Computer and IT vendors that provide computer lab maintenance services
