Fact Sheet
Sefrioui-Badissy Foundation (SBF)
Sefrioui-Badissy Foundation (SBF) is a public, non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating the digital divide in Africa. We provide technology access and community-based training to impoverished African students – giving them the knowledge and tools necessary for participation in the global market.
Our Vision
To give underprivileged kids in Africa the motivation, tools and skills necessary to succeed in a globally connected and technologically dependent world.
Our Mission
Sefrioui-Badissy Foundation will deliver our vision by creating sound partnerships that enable us to provide schools with hardware, software, training and guidance – one child, one school and one country at a time.
Computer Labs
SBF shipped over 1200 computers to 120 public schools in Morocco, 22 schools in South Africa, and numerous schools in Uganda, Gambia, Kenya, and Ethiopia. We’re setting up computer labs, training teachers and students to use these computers and establishing a network of professionals to provide ongoing maintenance and support.
Each computer lab contains 10 computers with up-to-date programs and applications, secure Internet connections, stable electricity, furniture and other basic necessities.
